LDS Single Adult Conference: "The Best is Yet to Come"

Schedule, June 20th

5:00 PM - 6:00PM             (PRE-CONFERENCE – OPTIONAL) Self-pay dinner (Chinese)  

6:00 PM - 9:00PM             Escape Room or Temple Session (Be sure to schedule your spot)

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM          Dance and Game Room

  • Theme: "Dancing into the Future"

  • Mix of uplifting and popular music.

  • Refreshments provided.

Schedule, June 21st

 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM           Registration & Welcome Table

  • Welcome table with name tags and a small handout of President Nelson's quotes on hope and the future.

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM           Opening Session & Devotional

  • Brief devotional with a musical number and prayer.

  • Introduction to the theme, "The Best is Yet to Come." by Tamar Molloy of the Duluth Stake

9:40 AM - 10:20 AM          Class Session A- Choose one of 3 Classes:

  • Class A: “Finding Joy in the Journey: Daily Habits of Happiness” presented by Tina Lowe of the St. Cloud Stake

  • Class B: “Preparing for the Future: Setting Goals with Eternal Perspective” presented by Patriarch Bator from Duluth Stake

  • Class C: “Cultivating Spiritual Resilience” presented by Brianna Bly from Rochester Stake

10:30 AM -11:00 AM        Morning Activity- (If you are doing the craft, sign up during registration)

  • JEOPARDY or

  • CRAFT (supply fee payable to instructor)

11:10 AM - 11:50 AM       Class Session B (Choose 1)

  • Workshop B: “Basics to Maintaining a Vehicle” facilitated by Jeremiah Johnstun from St. Cloud

  • Workshop C:  “Financially Planning a Bright Future” facilitated by Doug Mock from Minneapolis Stake

2:00 PM - 4:30 PM            Service Project Options

  • Feed My Starving Children  

  • Temple sessions OR

  • Decorate Cards for Veterans

4:30 PM - 5:00 PM            FREE TIME

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM            Dinner

  • Buffet-style dinner with Lasagna (Meat and Veggie option), garlic bread, salad, and desserts.

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM            Keynote Address

  • Speaker: Jeffery Chipman, Oakdale Stake President

  • Topic: Embracing the Future with Faith and Hope

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM             Evening Devotional / Testimonies

  • Testimony meeting focusing on hope and the future.
